In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

EmEm

If you haven't been reading Mario's marvey blog, you might want to mosey on over there. He's much more regular with his postings than I have been lately. And they're quite interesting. I especially enjoyed his post on the nine stages of writing as illustrated on the current cover of The New Yorker. He's fabulous; yes, he is.

A Satirical Look at the Presidency

I just giggled through the less than fifteen minutes of fame it took me to read Mario's latest gem, My Administration.

Mario's Website

Mario has combined all his blogs into one. Well, wait, not combined. He has given up the others and will now delight us with his words here, on Mario Milosevic. Yeah! Check it out.

Terrastina & Mazolli

t&m.jpg

You can now get Mario's charming and wonderful Terrastina and Mazolli: A Novel in 99-word Episodes in book form on Amazon. I love this book! He's got some cool extra features in the book, like an interview with the author, discussion questions, and an episode commentary by the author himself. Fun, funny, and clever.

Marcel et Moi

marcel e tmoi title image.jpg

Mario has started a new and exciting project. He's going to read Marcel Proust's masterpiece In Search of Lost Time (formerly known as Remembrance of Things Past) and write about it on his blog Marcel et Moi . I love the way he talks about the books he reads—his take is usually more interesting than the book itself. It'll be fun!

The Condition of Reality

Mario has started posting on Conditional Reality again. Yeah! Now we have those 100 word treats to gobble up every day again. At least for now.
