In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Speaking Truth to Power Again 

Did you see/hear or read Keith Olbermann's latest, The Beginning of the End of America. Great. Sad. Terrible. Made me weep. This should be broadcast everywhere throughout the country. A must see. Pass it on and on and on. Try to listen to it. It's good to hear it outloud. Here's the text.

I'm sorry for what's happening to your country. I fear we are not far behind (I'm Canadian) though I have high hopes that we will not elect someone who is so Bush friendly next time.
