In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Bravo, Mr. Olbermann

If you have access to MSNBC, watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann. They replay it at 9:00 p.m. PST. The last few minutes are amazing! He goes after Rumsfeld and the Bush administration with guts and grace. I haven't found a video of it yet, but here's the transcript. (It's not a direct link, so it may change. It's called "Feeling morally, intellectually confused?") I was planning to have my TV service switched off today, but I'm glad I waited. His commentary was a great thing to hear and see. 1 comments

That is a great thing to have caught while your TV is still on. Keith O. is very brave, I hope he keeps his job for a while longer.

Kim, I'm mentioning you as part of BlogDay2006, where bloggers are supposed to share 5 new blogs they've discovered. I found you through Joanna.
