In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Queen of the Slackers

This is the plan, Stans and Jans. I'm going to try not to do anything (except for a little library work) for the next four days. Are you with me? You wanna join me? I shall become the Queen of the Slackers. Can she do it, ladies and germs? I'm going to the Old Mermaid Sanctuary (which is presently in my mind) and hang out with my Sister Mermaids. Whaddaya say, Rays?

Okay. I'll stop rhyming. And I'll stop stalling.

Wish me luck.

Big collective hugs. (And individual ones too.)

It's all about the love, baby. 3 comments

You go,girl! I'll love thinking of you in the sanctuary, the more so because I can't come with right now.

This is a brief journey well worth the undertaking, and I do like the expression, "Queen of the Slackers". Slacking is something I am very good at.
