In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Another One Bites the Dust?

I shouldn't be so flip. I don't feel flip. I feel sad. The West appears to be in the midst of destroying yet another Mideastern country. I can see why it would look that way to those in the Mideast. It certainly looks that way to me. Yet they are not going to go quietly. The US is going to be blamed for this. I don't believe all the reasons I've heard. I don't believe this is about trying to destroy a terrorist organization. Something else is going on. I think it might be all about Iran. Or trying to divert attention from Iraq. Or both. But what do I know?

I wish them peace. 0 comments
