In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Active

My dear friend Patricia Lay-Dorsey of Windchime Walker is so appalled by what is happening in Lebanon that she got in her vehicle and drove from Michigan to D.C. to protest. Patricia just happens to have MS, so she is "scooting" around D.C. She is a braveheart, and I love her dearly. May her mojo be bigger, better, and stronger than all that other bad and destructive mojo. (Hey, it's late, and I can't think of many words right now.) 2 comments

I will have to send this post to a gal here in town who protested at an Israel church in Dayton. (Sorry specifics are generic) Also, I was inspired by your comment a few weeks ago about being a "slacker queen"... I just now getting back into my crafts and design work... check it out here

Loved it, loved it. I like your new design, too, BTW.
