In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Transparency 

No, not in government, silly loves. In nature. Mario found these photographs somewhere of butterflies with transparent wings. Aren't they marvey? (I wish I'd known about them when I was writing Mercy, Unbound—since she is troubled because no one can see her wings. Someone could have commented that maybe she was a glasswing angel.) They're called Glasswings. What a great title for a story...
