In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Piece of Paper

I heard this on Will Shetterly's blog: Bush thinks the Constitution is just a "god-damned piece of paper." Isn't it really more parchment than paper? Anyway, as Captain Renault said in Casablanca, "I'm shocked, shocked...to discover Bush is an asshole." OK. Maybe he didn't quite say that. But you get the point. It is sad, though. I keep thinking that he has to have respect for something besides $$$$$. That's rather delusional on my part, wouldn't you say?

All of this is a stall. I need to eat and drive to Portland. Getting more craniosacral therapy and seeing another ND. My allergies are very very bad today. All swollen up and dripping like a...really gross thing. I've been involved in all these various healing modalities for WEEKS and nothing feels any different right now. Makes me kind of sad.

Now that you have that drippy visual, I'm outta here! 1 comments

Hi Kim

I agree with your anti-Bush sentiment. I've attended a "The World Can't Wait" anti-Bush rally here in San Francisco where I am a law student. In a study break (this is finals week) I happily discovered your site and blog.

Your blog and site are a fantastic fun read, just like Gaea Websters and Jigsaw Woman! As a post-finals treat, I'll order your latest from Amazon.

Keep up the excelent work!
