In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

The X-Spot 

Or the X-Files. Apparently a big X appeared on Cheney's head during a speech he was giving—at least on CNN it did. It was a technical glitch (despite the cry from right-wingers who said it was all part of the vast left-wing conspiracy). But it is funny nonetheless. I ALMOST wish I'd been watching. Would have made my day.
