In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Check out Conditional Reality 

If you haven't been going to Mario's blog Conditional Reality lately you're really missing some great posts. He is doing a series now called "A Bestiary of Imaginary Species edited by Nenad Dragicevic." I usually don't really get imaginary bestiaries, but this one I get and enjoy. On one post I especially liked, I made a comment of 101 words—since his posts are always 100 words. Before the bestiary posts, he did a quirky and moving series about robots. 0 comments
