In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Some Links Mario Found

Although part of me doesn't really give a shit, the other parts of me long for justice. I hope the Emperor and his tailors will soon be exposed for what they truly are. I heard Mrs. Bush (the mother) say that the people in the Astrodome were actually lucky and better off there—even though it was kind of scary that they were talking about staying, she added. (Oh no! Texas will have too many poor people and some of them are Black!!!!) If the country cannot see now (or does not care) how these people care nothing about them or anyone else except their rich friends, then they deserve this government.

Here's the link to the overlay of the New Orleans flood onto major American cities—it goes to Portland. You can pick other cities on the left. You've probably already seen it but just in case...

Here is an amazing sequence of photos about the flood. I'm a bit curious (and suspicious) about the last bit of these photos. Why did he suddenly stop taking photographs of the last part of his trip? Is it because it didn't happen the way he said it did? Did his battery run low? Did he get tired? Am I just now so stressed that I am suspicious of every little inconsistency? 0 comments
