In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Societies of Peace 

If you're in the Texas region (yes, I understand that is a BIG region), you might want to go to the Second World Congress on Matriarchal Studies. I'd love to go! Genevieve Vaughan, the woman responsible for the creation of the Goddess Temple near Las Vegas, is a cosponsor of the conference. (I just typed "Las Vegan." Is that a new story idea or is it just time for breakfast?) Wow. Look at this schedule for the conference. I wonder if they're going to record it?
