In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Bush's Bitch is Back 

Yes, ladies and germs, Tony Blair has stepped over to the side of the anti-scientists, now agreeing with the Emperor With No Clothes (he doesn't need them because it's getting so freaking hot out) about global warming. We can't save the planet, they agree, if it impacts our economic outlook. Your economic outlook? Listen you little twerps (I really censored myself just then) you can't spend money in hell! And that's what this planet is going to turn into if you don't get your shit together.

I'm just saying.
