In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

And So It Goes... 

Isn't it great the way the Republican theocrats are taking over our country. Have you seen that the House has passed a bill which will allow Head Start to deny employment to those who do not share their religious views. Yep. These places are getting federal aid: your tax dollars. Is that really what you want to happen? And according to Julian Borger in the Guardian, the Bushies are using hurricane aid to "test out rightwing social policies."

Look for the Inquisition coming to a neighborhood near you soon.
