In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

More Editorials 'toons 

I just noticed that they are adding cartoons to that link I gave you in an earlier post. It's so frustrating listening (so I need to stop that) to the news media mis-characterize this woman. This is a Republican ploy: kill the messenger, don't discuss the message. Even my father said he was skeptical of her, wondering why the left fringe was helping her. I said, "What left fringe? Are you talking about Moveon.org? I'm a part of Moveon.org. Do you know how they started? They were ordinary people disgusted with all the focus on Monica Lewinski mess and the impeachment. That's what their name meant: let's move on. They're just ordinary people like you and me." My father is a smart guy. The smear machine is working.

Just remember: CINDY SHEEHAN IS A WOMAN WHO BIRTHED A BOY THEY KILLED.
