In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Bush Disapproval Ratings by State 

His approval rating in Idaho has gone UP. Up. What kind of people live in Idaho? Also in Utah, Texas, Nebraska, and Alabama. If any Furious Spinner readers live in those states (and I know I've got at least one Texas reader), I'm feeling for you this morning! In most of the other states, his approval rating has plummeted. Halle-freaking-luia. I know what you're saying: what good does it do us now? It could do us good in the midterm elections. Now is the time for all good people to get out there and work hard for those non-Repulsicans who are running for office.
