In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Bounce Your Boobies

The boob is gone, and the breasts are back! Remember the Shroud of Ashcroft? He was so embarrassed by the statue's breast that he had Justice covered up. (Hmmm, no metaphor there.) Now he's gone, and so is the drapery. Yeah! (Except this new guy appears to believe torture is OK and that the constitution is a dated document. But that's another story.) Now let's get the other boob out of office. Thanks to Kevin and Mario for keeping me abreast of things. (I'm sorry; I couldn't resist.)

P.S. Randi Rhodes starts out her show with "Bounce Your Boobies." "The swing is everything. Makes no difference if they're big or small as long as you give 'em your all." Here's a listen.

(The space problem is something with Blogger. They say they're working on it.) 0 comments
