In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Spine Tingling 

Have the Democrats found a spine? Are they going to continue to stand up to Frist and all his conservative buddies against the "nuclear option"? When the Bushies threaten an ethics war, will the Dems cry, "Bring it on!" I hope so. Kind of gives me goose bumps just thinking of it. Robert Parry believes one of the reasons the Dems are standing up is that now they've got some media to back them up. Yeah, Air America! (I love Randi Rhodes. She really knows her stuff—and she'll give people on her side shit if they don't know theirs.) Hope hops around eternal.
