In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Have you heard that Rumsfeld has warned the Iraqis against purges and patronage? Hey, Mr. Rummy, doth thou thinkest perhaps you shouldeth talketh to your own government? Someone from the Emperor's government telling the Iraqis not to use patronage is a bit like the pot telling the pan it's a cooking utensil. N'est-ce pas? 0 comments
