In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Tsunami Photos: Before & After 

These satellite photos of coastlines before and after the tsunami are amazing. You'll see to the left and above each photo where you can click on "before" and then "after," and back again if you like. Then to the right of that, you can go to the next photo. Don't look just at the coastline in the "after" photo. Look inland to see how far the water went.
