In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Go, Boxer!

OK, I wish I had TV (or radio) to witness Barbara Boxer go after Condeleeza Rice at the Senate confirmation hearings. It sounded like Diane Feinstein practically kissed her hand and bowed down to her. If John Kerry is quoted accurately, he sounded as incomprehensible as he often sounds, although I believe he was criticizing her. But Boxer, ahhh Boxer, now she implied that Rice and the administration lied about WMD. Which is the truth! Rice said they should be able to have this discussion without questioning her integrity. Why? I question her integrity. A large portion of the American public questions her integrity. I question the integrity of the entire administration of the Emperor With No Clothes. So thank you, Barbara Boxer. Keep asking those questions. 0 comments
