In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Steamin' 

OK. She can stop now. Mount St. Helens has been declared Washington state's number one polluter! Geez Louise. My friend Kevin in Hawaii told me about vog, the volcanic smog created by the volcano in Hawaii, but I figured our volcano had to be different. Duh. Let's hope she settles down soon. I heard they sent in DEQ to shut her down, and she said, "Just clearin' my throat, boys. Wait til I really get going." Alpha bitch all right. I can relate.
