In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

The Yuck Factor 

Bill O'Reilly is being sued for sexual harassment. The legal papers are at this site. I made the mistake of reading some of them. If these charges are true, O'Reilly is more disgusting than I imagined—although I'm not surprised. Are you? Why do some men insist on talking about things like that with clearly unwilling listeners? (Remember Clarence Thomas.) It's a power thing, I think. They like seeing the women uncomfortable. I wonder how he's trying to spin this in his "no-spin" zone? Bleck. 0 comments
