In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

On the Side of...Fascists

So you gotta wonder why this isn't all over the news today, eh? Amnesty International has accused the United States of abusing prisoners at Gitmo and in Afghanistan and Iraq. I've said it before and I'll say it again: this is the story that should be on every news channel. This is the story that should be bringing down this government. Instead Americans (or is it just the media?) is obsessed over whether some pop singer lip-synced a song or whatever is the entertainment news of the moment. Get a grip, people! 0 comments
