In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Fahrenheit 451 

Did you know Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 in a library at U.C.L.A? He needed a quiet place to work, and the library had twelve typewriters for public use: only 10 cents per half hour. He got the quotes he uses in the novel from books he ran around grabbing off the library shelves while his time ticked away on the typewriter clock. 0 comments
