In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Bushies Calling Robertson Liar? 

For some reason, I find this story amusing. Pat Robertson says he talked with Bush just before the war, warning him there could be many casualties. He says the president was very sure of himself and said there would be no casualties. Well, Karl Rove, the puppet master, says he was in the room during this conversation and Bush never said that. Code for: liar, liar, pants on fire? Robertson has reiterated his support for Bush but has not "changed his mind" on what he heard Bush say.
