In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Americans Should Care 

Although I don't believe the average American cares what the rest of the world thinks of the U.S., perhaps their eyes would be opened if they read (or heard) what the average European says about us. Shame could actually work on Americans since we come from Puritan stock, primarily. You might want to send the above link to friends and families who still think the U.S. is the greatest and can do no wrong.
