In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Repulsive Convention 

I'm not watching the Repulsive Convention, but according to this article, John McCain's speech didn't go over very well, while Guiliani's self-satisfied nasty speech got them roaring. Some say members of the GOP are using 9/11 to try and get Bush reelected. That's a big DUH. It's cynical and disgusting but obvious. They have no sense of decorum or true compassion. Do I sound snotty? Sorry. I don't mean to demonize "them." I'm sure some of them have compassion.
