In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

About Time—But Not Enough

Have you heard? According to the Guardian, Bush has finally denounced the ad that lies about Kerry's war record. I didn't actually hear what Bush said but the Guardian is reporting it, and they're usually right. (I just listened to CNN reporting on this, and they say the White House is downplaying Bush talking about "that ad." Very odd. I actually thought that Bush was acting presidential for a moment–I should have known better. I wouldn't say he "denounced" anything.) 0 comments
