In times of old, The Furies protected Mother Right. If a mother (or any woman) was harmed, The Furies swooped down and took their vengeance. They were one of the last vestiges of a world that existed before the patriarchy. When we feel righteous anger, it is The Furies who are calling out to us to make what is wrong right again.

Why Go to Mars? Can you spell: Halliburton 

Last night Mario and I watched (barf bags in hand) as Dubya talked about going to Mars. Mario said, "Why is he doing this?" I shrugged. "All I can guess is that he wants people to believe he does some things without having a political motive." I am soooo naive. Guess who is behind the push to Mars? Apparently Cheney is the big Mars cheesehead and is pushing going to Mars along with Halliburton, the company where he was head honcho before becoming VP. It's so diabolical it's almost funny.
